A generation of households across the country are stuck in rented accommodation without the opportunity to buy their own home. The 2013/14 English Housing Survey shows 4.4m households are currently living in private rented accommodation, while levels of home ownership have dropped from 66 per cent in 2012/13 to 63 per cent currently. The research also shows a significant drop in owner occupation among those aged 25 to 34, from 59 per cent in 2003-04 to 36 per cent in 2013-14.

The Rentplus model offers investors the opportunity to make a real difference to the state of the housing market across the country, as well as supporting aspiring home owners to realise their dreams.

The Rentplus model offers investors a secure income stream underpinned by 20 year full repairing leases with our partner housing associations. Meanwhile the occupiers will be aspiring home owners who, through their journey to home ownership, will have a strong incentive to look after the asset.

Homes are packaged in manageable portfolios with reduced administration costs and all Rentplus homes are either planned and integrated as part of open market housing or at Rentplus villages providing a sustainable and flexible tenure environment.
