Rentplus Partnership and Enabling Manager

 It’s an exciting time to be working in housing! We find ourselves in unprecedented times, with the debate about housing or the lack of it front and centre.  The challenge about how to deliver much needed affordable housing delivered with confidence and certainty are required.  Rentplus is an innovative affordable rent to buy housing model; we work closely with local authorities, housing associations and housebuilders to increase the supply of affordable housing across the country.

 We are at a critical point in our growth plans, and now need more staff to help accelerate our delivery programme. And that’s where you come in! We're looking for a talented, dynamic and well-connected individual who is ready to take on a new challenge and help us to secure our ambitious business plan targets.

You will be working with an enthusiastic team who are passionate about growing the Rentplus UK business and meeting the growing gap between aspiration and reality for those who want to own their own home.

You will be the front face of Rentplus, developing positive relationships with Local Authorities, (Directors, members, planners and enablers), securing Registered Provider partners, and identifying suitable sites for Rentplus developments to unlock opportunities. 

You will have:

  • Strong customer relationship management experience
  • The ability to explain complex concepts simply, influence thinking and negotiate effectively
  • A network of established contacts
  • Experience of working with local authorities, housing associations and/or housebuilders in a commercial environment
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Great communication and presentation skills

The Partnership & Enabling Manager will cover the South West region. Salary c£35k including a car allowance, subject to experience.  We offer a contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
