“Rentplus Homes had the privilege of having Darrell as its Chair from its inception in 2021 until earlier this year, when Terry Stacey MBE JP took over the role.
“Darrell remained on the Rentplus Homes board and we greatly benefitted from his support and wisdom.
“Social housing was in Darrell’s DNA – he worked in the sector for over 34 years. Through A2Dominion and the other housing organisations he worked with, Darrell helped provide good quality homes for tens of thousands of families.
“He was committed to our ethos of helping renters become homeowners. His guidance was invaluable and helped us achieve our Registered Provider status last year.
“All of us at Rentplus extend our condolences to his wife Louise, daughter Ruby, son Richard, all his family, friends, colleagues, and everyone who knew and loved him.”
