David Marshall

David is a specialist in all aspects of corporate finance, M&A and private equity. He led his first cross-border, leveraged MBO in 1983 and over the following years successfully led and completed several hundred transactions in the UK, Europe, South-East Asia and the US. His roles have included principal investor, equity partner, corporate finance and M&A adviser or lender (mezzanine and senior debt) on deals ranging from £100,000 to more than £2bn. He is the managing partner of Griffon Capital, his corporate finance advisory company.

Peter George

Peter has more than 30 years’ experience at senior management and board level in the pharmaceutical, pharma services, CRO, healthcare and life sciences, publishing and business intelligence sectors. This includes 12 years as CEO and 5 as a non-executive director.

His achievements include leading a £67m MBO of Penn Pharma in 2007, being named as European Private Equity CEO of the Year in 2010, and in 2012 overseeing one of the most successful recent floats on Aim as CEO of Clinigen.

Peter was chairman of Rentplus from 2018 until December 2019 and is president of Enigma Holdings Group, Ergomed and Benchmark Holdings. He is also chairman or a director of Mitre Group, XPG Holdings, Marco Polo Events (UK Challenge) and Eminent Sports Group (ESG).

Sir Gary Streeter MP

Sir Gary is MP for South-West Devon and has held several front-bench, ministerial posts. Before entering politics, he was a partner at a large local law firm and served on Plymouth City Council for six years, two as chairman of housing. He was awarded a knighthood for public service in the 2019 New Year’s Honours.

His experience covers affordable and first-time homes, key-worker accommodation for the NHS, student halls of residence as well as retail, leisure and office developments. He is a widely respected authority on all aspects of development, planning, design and delivery and is particularly interested in sustainability. He founded Rentplus in 2013.
