Second area manager – Alasdair Manson – joins Rentplus’s new Northern team

Nov 4, 2019
Alasdair Manson is the second addition to Rentplus’s new Northern team and joins Rentplus today (4 November) as an Area Manager for the North of England. He will be working with housing developers, local authorities and councils in the region to offer affordable rent to buy to families in the north.

Rentplus Chief Executive, Steve Collins, welcomed Alasdair Manson’s appointment, saying: “Rentplus believes that every family dreaming of owning their home should have the opportunity to. With Alasdair’s appointment, families in the north of England will now have that chance.

“Rentplus has been successful across the south of the country. Our families have moved in to a home without having to have even one penny of deposit. They pay affordable rent until they are in a position to buy the home they are living in.”

Alasdair joins Sajjad Hussain, another Area Manager in the North, as Rentplus continues to grow across the country. Both will join Steve Collins at the Homes for the North Conference in Leeds on 14 November.

After completing a housing degree to become a Chartered Housing professional, Alasdair spent over 20 years working in the social housing sector. His work has covered housing needs and homeless prevention, asset services, income collection, housing management and estates services. He has worked for local authorities, housing associations and tenant management organisations. Prior to joining Rentplus he was Director of Neighbourhoods at Metropolitan Housing.
